TESS LABRADOR'S WORKS OF LIFE



Tess is a New York artist creating sculptural forms of nature in silver and gold jewelry and other sculptures in clay and metal. Her works are owned by private collectors on both sides of the Atlantic. She is a frequent exhibitor, most recently an invited artist at the "Lincoln Center Fall Arts Festival" in New York City. In Summer she was invited to join the "London Biennale 2002" in England. Springtime, she exhibited at the "Arts Festival" at the Rockefeller Center and at the prestigious American Craft Museums' American Craft Council 2002 Winter Show in Baltimore. Other exhibits include SOFA (Sculpture, Objects, Functional Art) at the New York Armory; New York Council for the Arts Program; Yaw Gallery, J. Cotter Gallery, the Sudam + Diepenbrock Gallery, 450 Broadway Gallery, Clocktower Gallery, Micaela Gallery, Galleria de los Artistas.

Her versatile work ranges from structural utensils and objects of daily life to pre-Columbian inspired sculpture, and her collections of nature-based jewelry.
